Our Commitment

Mashric Inc. is committed to providing a Mashric experience that is usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where applicable to our mobile application.

What We Have Done

• Text and interactive elements are designed with the WCAG AA colour-contrast ratios as a target.
• Buttons, links, and form fields carry accessibility labels so they are announced correctly by VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
• Forms display visible labels in addition to placeholder hints.
• Critical state (item unavailable, order cancelled) is conveyed by both colour and text, not by colour alone.
• The app supports the device's system-level Dynamic Type / font-size settings.
• Touch targets meet the 44pt minimum recommended by Apple and Google.

Known Limitations

We are continuously improving accessibility. If you encounter content that is difficult to use with assistive technology (for example, a screen that doesn't read correctly with VoiceOver or TalkBack), please let us know so we can fix it.
