Content creator filming drinks at Mashric Open role · Bolton

Social Media Content Creator

Mashric is looking for someone to run our social media and make it look as good as the cafe feels. You'll be in the space regularly, shooting drinks, food, and the small moments that make the room what it is, then turning that into content people stop scrolling for. This is a hands-on creator role, not a strategy-deck role. If you live in CapCut and think in Reels, we want to talk.

What you'll be doing

  • Planning, shooting, and editing photo and short-form video in the cafe
  • Running our Instagram and TikTok day to day: posting on a schedule and keeping a simple content calendar
  • Writing captions that sound like us rather than an ad
  • Replying to comments and DMs, and watching what's performing
  • Bringing ideas for promotions, seasonal drinks, and local collaborations

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio, or accounts you've made content for. We care about this more than a résumé.
  • You can shoot and edit on your phone with tools like CapCut, Lightroom, or similar
  • You understand short-form video and what holds attention in the first three seconds
  • You can write in a brand's voice and shift tone to fit
  • Being comfortable on camera, or directing people who are, helps
  • You can come to the cafe to shoot. The content has to be made on location.

The details

  • Full-time, 40 hours a week
  • Shooting on-site at Bolton; editing can be done remotely
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada
